Dr. Meeta
Co-Director, Tanvir Hospital & Head of Menopause Medicine
Dr. Meeta is a nationally renowned expert in menopausal medicine and the Director of Tanvir Hospital, Hyderabad, where she also serves as the Head of the Department of Menopause Medicine at Advance Gynecology Center. With over three decades of clinical experience, she has been at the forefront of developing holistic care protocols for mid-life women, integrating evidence-based treatments for menopause, postmenopausal osteoporosis, and gynecologic aging. As a pioneer in India’s menopause movement, she has authored several national clinical guidelines and led educational initiatives that have transformed the way menopause is diagnosed and managed in both private and public sectors.
Her journey from a practicing gynecologist to a national leader in menopausal health is marked by significant academic and clinical milestones. She is the founder of the Indian Menopause Society’s Hyderabad Chapter, a past President of IMS, and Chief Editor of multiple menopause-related publications, including the Journal of Mid-Life Health. As the founding coordinator of the Indian Midlife Registry (2021–2031) and mentor to many clinicians across India, Dr. Meeta’s vision is to embed menopausal care as a standard part of women’s healthcare—just as antenatal care is today. Her work reflects a commitment to advancing mid-life health with compassion, science, and leadership.
